Recently, the Yintai 100MW Ground-mounted PV project, developed and constructed by CHINT Solar, is connected to grid.
The project started its construction in September 2022 and the CHINT Solar's team delivered it on schedule to the highest standard by overcoming the extreme weather conditions, high altitude, and the fluctuation of equipment prices.
The project is located at Aksay County of Gansu Province, known as the "Shining Jade beyond the Great Wall" thanks to its particular geographical location connecting Gansu, Qinghai, and Xinjiang.
The site has an extension of 200 hectares, with average altitude of 1800m. The installed capacity is 125.0172MWdc (100MWac), accompanied by 15MW/60MWh BESS. In the altogether 30 solar matrix, 189,420 pieces of 660Wp PV panels are deployed spreading over this deserted land. It is expected to generate 200 million kWh of green power to the grid, benefitting the "Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality Target" proposed by China. The average emission reduction every year from this project is over 200k tCO2, 6k tSO2 and 3k tNOx.
CHINT Solar, as the vanguard in response to call of National Green Developing Strategy, so far has delivered almost 400MW PV project in Gansu Province.
