This business model, aka Agrivoltaic, is a mature way of the dimensional utilization of space. CHINT has delivered lots of representing projects and being highly appraised by the local community and the Authority.

Under different geographical conditions, the extensive plantation of economic forests can be integrated with the solar power application. The reconditioning of soil before the project construction will benefit to the forests plantation and reach a win-win situation.

In this business model, we have managed to reach the deep fusion among husbandry, circular agriculture, and the clean energy technology. The sola panels offer good protection over the pasture for the livestock, and in daily O&M the waterdrop from the cleaning could fertilize the plants growing beneath.

It is a combination of solar and fishery. The solar panels set above the water are good “shield” for the aquatic biota in the water. This is a new business model featuring the dimensional utilization of limited space.

We have come up with a creative integration of solar with desertification control, agricultural development, and poverty mitigation. The solar panels above the desert act as a protection against the negative impact from the direct sunlight and wind, while the microdroplet and sparkling irrigation can help the survival of the plants beneath. Apart from the Kubuqi desert, CHINT has carried our similar projects in barren lands and Gobi areas in Ningxia, Qinghai, and Gansu Province.
