On September 25th, the Signing Ceremony of Syndicated Loan and Syndicated Bank Guarantee between participating Banks and CHINT was celebrated at CHINT's Headquarters in Hangzhou. Mr. LIN Yiming, CFO of CHINT Group Corporation and Vice President of CHINT Electrics, Mr. HAN Yu, East China Regional General Manager of Standard Chartered Bank's Corporate & Investment Banking, and Mr. Pradeep NAIR, Global Head of Structured Solutions and Development of Standard Chartered Bank attended the event.

Representatives from the Agricultural Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Bank of Communication of China, China CITIC Bank, China Industrial Bank, SPD Bank, China Minsheng Bank, Bank of Jiangsu, CZBank, Huaxia Bank, Evergrowing Bank, Xiamen International Bank, BBVA, ING Bank N.V., ANZ Bank, Bank of East Asia, Hang Seng BANK, China CITIC Bank International, Mashreq Bank, State Bank of India, Chiyu Bank, and Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank joined the event as witnesses.

The Syndicated Bank Guarantee with a separated structure and Ultra-long credit tenor, is the very first one of its kind in the Asian markets. The Syndicated loan is also the first Green Loan with SPO and in compliance of the Hong Kong Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance. The Syndicated loan has acquired the endorsement and participation from 21 banks globally, with a tripled oversubscription, the final financing scale has made a huge leap forward, from 300 million to 600 million of Euro.
Mr. LIN said, in his speech, that CHINT, as a proactive practitioner in the sustainable energy sector, has been investing and delivering solar projects in over 40 countries and regions and so far, the accumulated project portfolio in Europe is over 6.5GW. With the strong support and trust from overseas financial institutions, CHINT has the confidence to expand even more in a sturdy and healthy way.
