We have come up with a creative integration of solar with desertification control, agricultural development, and poverty mitigation. The solar panels above the desert act as a protection against the negative impact from the direct sunlight and wind, while the microdroplet and sparkling irrigation can help the survival of the plants beneath. Apart from the Kubuqi desert, CHINT has carried our similar projects in barren lands and Gobi areas in Ningxia, Qinghai, and Gansu Province.
